  • Leavers Prom

    On Friday 14th July our Year 11 pupils celebrated in style at their Leavers Prom at RHS Rosemoor.

     

    It was a fantastic event to mark the end of a five-year journey at GTS. The Year 11s looked fantastic and made us all very proud. As part of the event, we presented a number of prestigious awards to pupils, which are listed below.

     

    We’d like to take this opportunity to all our Year 11s the very best for the future.

  • GCSE Results Day 2023

  • Summer Holiday Junior Sports Camps

    GTS are delighted to offer opportunities for children in primary school years 3 – 6 to come and try out some great sporty activities:

     

    • Monday 24th July – Football (Roma Sports) – Football boots required

    • Tuesday 25th July – Multi Sport (Roma Sports)

    • Wednesday 26th July – Fencing Skills (Little Musketeers) • Thursday 27th July – Tri Golf

    • Monday 31st July – Football (Roma Sports) – Football boots required

    • Tuesday 1st August – Multi Sport (Roma Sports)

    • Wednesday 2nd August – Orienteering, team building, dodge ball

    • Thursday 3rd August – Tri Golf

     

    Each day will run from 9:30 am – 3:00 pm and include a break for lunch.

     

    The cost for each day will be £12 to include all tuition, equipment use and a certificate payable in advance by BACS to:

  • Year 5 Day - Monday 10th July

    We are very much looking forward to welcoming you and your children to our Year 5 day on Monday 10th July.

     

    As advertised you are welcome to return to school at 2.30pm to watch the afternoon's PE activities; however, despite us ordering sunshine, it seems there may be a chance of inclement weather. Should this happen the PE activities will not be observable, in which case we request you collect your child at 3pm.

  • INDUSTRIAL ACTION UPDATE - 5th July and 7th July

    Confirmation of restricted attendance, as below:

    • Wednesday 5th July - Years 8 and 9 are to remain at home. Years 7 and 10 should attend school as normal.
    • Friday 7th July - Years 7 and 10 are to remain at home. Years 8 and 9 should attend school as normal.

     

    Pupils shall be registering for the morning in alternate locations by house as follows:

    • Discovery  – Sports Hall
    • Endeavour – Dining Hall
    • Endurance – Drama Studio
    • Resolution – Gym

     

    School transport will be running as scheduled and school uniform should be worn as normal.
