• Donation from Rotary Club of Torrington

  On behalf of the emerging readers of Great Torrington School, we would like to say thank you very much for the kind donation from the Rotary Club of Torrington for purchasing these books to add to our library. They are hand-picked books full of gritty stories and drama which is exactly what the students crave.

   

  I chose the books from Barrington Stoke; a small independent children's publisher which pioneers super readable, dyslexia-friendly titles by carefully selected authors, to help every child become a reader.  The books have a larger font size & cream-coloured pages for increased accessibility.  We work towards every child enjoying reading and becoming independent readers. Thank you again!
