  • Weather Conditions / Travel

Sun 11 Dec 2022 Mr Buss

Due to adverse weather conditions please be advised some school transport may not be running tomorrow; we believe both Hemmings and Hills services may not be running. Devon County Council has currently confirmed that TORR-08 will definitely not be running.

The school will be open as normal, but we would advise all parents and pupils use their own judgement with regards to travel arrangements.

We are aware some pupils may be late to school and appreciate the difficulties some families may be facing.

In making your judgement, please ensure you consider the safety of yourself, and your children, before travelling.

  • GTS doing their bit for future GTS generations

    Fri 09 Dec 2022

We recently had a variety of approximately 200 tree saplings donated to us by The Woodland Trust.

Some pupils, along with our site team, have recently spent time carefully planting these around the school site.

The pupils enjoyed helping make improvements to the school, leaving a legacy behind with the knowledge they can watch them grow over the years.

  • GTS Rocks Choir

    Mon 28 Nov 2022

A HUGE SHOUTOUT to our wonderful GTS Rocks Choir! 🎝🎝

Last night we took 22 pupils and 7 of our staff vocalists to sing in the magnificent Exeter Cathedral for A Night of Mystical Music in the Nave, and joined 5 other schools and Teachers Rock

Despite the nerves of our first concert being in front of 400+ people, the pupils smashed their individual performance! We also (staff included) sang collaboratively with the other choirs: 200 people singing on stage in a cathedral.

A huge thanks to @TeachersRockChoir and also to Miss Davey-Wright, leader of our choir, for giving the pupils this amazing experience, one that I’m sure will never be forgotten.

Here are a few shots of the night.
