Cover Supervisor

Salary: £26,824 to £28,598 pro rata (Grade D)

£13.90 to £14.82 per hour

Permanent contract, term time only

Up to 30 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cover Team in our flourishing and supportive school.  We have flexible hours available, ranging from 1 to 5 days per week, term time only. 

The successful candidate will help to provide cover for teachers absent from classes, and support identified groups as required.

Communications and Reprographics Technician

Salary: D Grade, points 8 to 12

£26,824 to £28,598 (pro rata)

£13.90 to £14.82 hourly rate

 

Hours: 1420.8 hours per annum

37 hours per week, 38.4 weeks per year (term time + 2 non-pupil days)

Great Torrington School is looking to appoint a Communications and Reprographics Technician to assist with the digital, print and other reprographics needs of the school including communications.

The duties of the successful candidate will include large volume printing for classes, maintaining the school’s reprographic equipment, assisting with marketing and communication including the school’s online presence via the website and social media channels.

Prospective candidates should have experience of using Microsoft Office and an enthusiasm for learning new skills relating to digital and print media.

Learning Support Assistant Level 2

Salary Grade C (Points 5 - 7)

£25,583 - £26,403 (£13.26 - £13.69 per hour) pro rata

1146.5 hours per annum, 29.4 hours per week worked Monday to Friday

Term time only

GTS is looking to appoint a Level 2 Learning Support Assistant to start as soon as possible.

The ability to communicate clearly, adaptability to meet a wide variety of situations, a sense of humour and a genuine desire to support and motivate young people in their learning, and an interest in supporting the social, emotional, and mental health needs of young people, are all essential for this post.  A good all-round education and proficiency in literacy, numeracy and ICT are desirable.
