GCSE Results Day 2024

Results will be available for collection from the Drama Studio between 10am and 12pm on Thursday 22^nd August 2023.

Not going to be around for results day?

• Results can be collected on behalf of pupils; we will need to have a signed letter giving permission from the pupil or we will be unable to give them to you. Please bring this along with you when collecting.
• We can post them out to you – just send in a stamped addressed envelope (or leave one on reception) and we will pop them in the post on that day.

Please make sure all forms are signed and completed and submitted with payment. 
Teachers will be available on the day to discuss any queries with you.

Historic Performance Metrics

GTS has been proud of the performance of our pupils which reflects their hard work and the excellent teaching they have received. The figures shown below are the confirmed values from DFE for the 2022 cohort and the provisional results for 2023.

2022

• Progress 8: +0.09

• Attainment 8: 50.16

• Percentage of students achieving 5 or above in English and Maths: 48%

2023

• Progress 8: +0.14

• Attainment 8: 46.72

• Percentage of students achieving 5 or above in English and Maths: 53%

GCSE Revision Tips

Revising for exams is about more than just reading through the notes you made in class. It also means knowing how to answer the questions for real when you are in the exam.

Privacy Notice

During Year 9 we have to register our learners with HM Government to obtain a ULN (Unique Learners Number) in order to enter them for examinations. To obtain this ULN we have to share pupil data, although this is covered by the Education Act and our own Privacy Notice (above) we are also obliged to share their Privacy Notice with you.
