Modern Foreign Languages Assistant
Salary: Unqualified Teacher Pay Range 1 – 6
Starting salary £17,682 per annum pro rata
Hours: 12 hours per week 38 weeks per year

GTS is looking to appoint a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Assistant to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.  The successful candidate will help prepare pupils for their GCSE, in particular the Speaking Exam, to promote the outcomes for pupils at GTS. Candidates will ideally have an excellent level of both French and Spanish and previous experience working in a teaching environment. Candidates will require a good cultural understanding of the countries from which the language originates.

Consideration will be given to applicants who can offer both or a single language.

Science Technician Apprentice
Salary: £200 per week
Hours: Term time only 37 hours per week 38 weeks per year

GTS require a Science Technician Apprentice to support our Science department.  The successful candidate will assist the Senior Science Technician in providing essential services, including the preparation and cleaning of equipment and chemicals for laboratory classes.  The maintenance of laboratories, prep-rooms and stores and completing the annual departmental inventory.
There is the potential that this will lead to a permanent role at the end of the apprenticeship, however this cannot be guaranteed.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 GCSEs, or equivalent, at grade C/4 or above in English, Maths and Science, along with a good standard of numeracy and literacy skills.
