Year 7

We will be revising everything we have done so far before moving on to look at free time activities. The revision will cover making sure you can:

  • Say your name

  • Spell your name

  • Say how you are and give a reason

  • Say where you live

  • Describe what you are like

  • Say if you have brothers and sisters

  • Say how old you are and when your birthday is

  • Describe who is in your family

  • Describe what is in a photo

  • Describe what people look like

You can revise by logging into Activelearn. Login using your school email as your username. If you don’t know your password, click on the forgotten password link and reset through your school email address.

Click on courses from the tool bar. Next, click on Viva 1(2nd edition). Start with the vocab learn, then the vocab tests before moving on to the other exercises.

Year 8

We will be revising everything we have done so far before moving on to look at describing houses and areas. The revision will cover making sure you can:

  • Say what subjects you study and which subjects you like and dislike

  • Describe your uniform and whether you like

  • Describe schools and say what facilities they have

  • Describe what is in a photo

  • Say what you do at break and after school

  • Say what you eat for breakfast and what food you like and dislike

  • Say what you do everyday

Click on courses from the tool bar. Next, click on Viva 1 (2nd edition). You can work through all of Module 3. As well as Viva 2 (2nd edition), Module 3 – units 1 and 2 and 3 and Module 4, unit 3. Start with the vocab learn, then the vocab tests before moving on to the other exercises

Year 9

We will be revising everything we have done so far before moving on to look at future holidays. The revision will cover making sure you can:

  • Describe where you want on holiday

  • Describe what you did on holiday

  • Describe where you prefer to spend the holidays and say what you can do there

  • Say what you normally do during the holidays

  • Say if you would like to go to a summer camp and why

  • Take part in conversations to book transport, hotel rooms and buy souvenirs

Click on courses from the tool bar. Next, click on Viva 2 (2nd edition). You can work through all of Module 1. As well as Viva 2 (2nd edition), Module 5 – unit 2. Start with the vocab learn, then the vocab tests before moving on to the other exercises.

Year 10

We will be revising module 4 before moving on to module 5.

You can revise by logging into Activelearn. Login using your school email as your username. If you don’t know your password click on the forgotten password link and reset through your school email address.

You can complete any of the exercises for Module 4 from ‘courses’ or use the online text book.

You should be able to write answers to Module 4, questions 1-8 from the GC questions on pg 198 of the textbook.

Additionally, we have been looking at exam skills and practicing the 90 word question from the writing paper and the role play from the speaking exam. There are comprehensive resources available through Portico, KS4, Spanish, Revision and Exam prep.

To further support your learning, login to TIL. The high frequency vocab is a really useful section as are the custom nutty tilez. In the grammar section, the present tense, near future, preterite and imperfect are good revision. There are also some videos on free time.

Year 11

We will be revising Module 7 and starting to work on Module 8.
