Year 11 GCSE Results day 2020 – Update

We are pleased to be able to confirm that the Year 11 results will go ahead as planned on August 20th. The timings for collection of individual results have already been sent to Year 11.

However, due to ongoing building work we are moving the collection point to the Drama studio. Parents should use the Bus lane/Rear car park and follow all previously released information.

Pupils should enter the side door of the drama studio, which will be indicated by flags, and exit via the front of school. A one way system will be clearly identified and pupils should leave the drama studio as soon as they have collected their results and return to the drop off point or walk home.

This is not how we would have liked to conduct the results day but the impact of Covid-19 has been unprecedented.

We wish all our pupils the very best with their hard earned results.

Transition Camp - June 2020

With great sadness I am writing to inform you Transition Camp will not go ahead as planned this Year. We are still unsure whether schools will reopen this term and what the transition process will look like. However, having consulted with the Ultimate Adventure Centre we have been advised that the camp element will definitely not be going ahead.

Any payments already made will be fully refunded, if you paid via parent mail this will be an automatic refund. If you paid via other means please contact Mrs Faulkner who will arrange a refund

As always we endeavour to support your children through their transition in these challenging times and are working hard to consider alternative arrangements. We are in the process of developing an online/virtual Transition package as well as looking at options for September.

We will write to you again shortly with regard to Uniform etc.

Please keep safe and feel free to contact me at anytime with any concerns.
