The School Poem

Prize-winning poet, student Reuben Musgrave, has written The school poem. Given the task by Pupil Coach, Sean Freeman, Reuben has tried to incorporate the school values into his poem ‘Be Kind Be Cool’. It is a message about inspiring others, treating fellow students kindly, and getting the best from school so you can achieve. Tracey Amos thinks Reuben’s poem is ‘absolutely fantastic’, and is, as are all staff, very proud of his achievement.

Upcoming Non Uniform Day

Changes have been made in regards to the upcoming school Non Uniform Day. Originally listed for Wednesday 14th December it has now been moved to Friday 16th December.

Miss McCarthy (Head of Learning for Y10) is hoping that the pupils will come in fancy dress, perhaps dress up in something Christmassy, to make this day a fun day as it is the last day of term. As usual pupils will need to pay £1 for not coming in uniform.
