Year 9 Champions

Year 9 Rugby Cup Final Success - Very tight first half, with GTS going behind early. Fought back very well to edge in front to bring the score to 12-10. In the second half GTS played with cool heads and their composure and directness allowed them to apply plenty of pressure on Park.

Finally GTS got their reward with a very well worked team try to give them breathing space. A fantastic performance and thoroughly deserved win. GTS will now progress on to the semi-final of the County Cup. Final score GTS 17 Park 10.

Jingle Jumble

Thank you to everyone that came and helped and supported the Jingle Jumble Thursday afternoon.
We have raised almost £250!

This is entirely due to the wonderful response of mine and Miss Rollick's tutor groups. It is enough to pay for our two girls in the Gambia to be educated for two years.

Please can special thanks be given to Naomi Alexander and Fleur Sparrow-Gormley who both gave up their time to come and help. Also to everyone who kindly donated and bought items and the wonderful community of Great Torrington who supported us.

Thank you, Annie Sparrow.

Christmas Jumper Day - Friday 14th December £1

We’re inviting everyone to take part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.  On this day, you can wear non-uniform along with your most festive, silliest or cosiest jumpers/tops and make a donation of £1 to help Save the Children to give hope to families in difficulty this Christmas.

You don’t need to splash out on snazzy new sweaters to join in the fun – you can decorate an old or plain top with tinsel, baubles or homemade snowflakes to create your own unique masterpiece!

Mental Health Ambassadors

We are really proud to announce that a group of young students have recently completed their training with Clancy Stephens, Hardy Centre Manager to become Mental Health Ambassadors and are the first in Devon to be awarded their badges.

The ambassadors will be able to talk amongst their peers to promote positive mental health and their training has included topics about communication, sensor perception, curious questioning, magic ten and ways of ‘Being’.
