Future Opportunities Evening

Great Torrington School is dedicated to giving our pupils comprehensive and impartial careers guidance and ensuring that the transition between school and further education/apprenticeships/work training is as smooth as possible. Our annual Future Opportunities Evening for parents/carers and pupils in Year 8 to 11 is on Thursday 19th October where a wide variety of further education providers,  higher education and local businesses will be able to provide information on courses, career pathways and apprenticeships. Entrance to the event will be via the north entrance to the Sports Hall, please park on Hatchmoor Road.

Courses are available from entry level to higher education in land-based subjects, engineering, public services and military preparation, outdoor adventure, early years & sport.  Also training provider for apprenticeships.

Traditional post 16 courses and are in partnership with the Flybe Training Academy (Flybe Diploma).  Training provider for apprenticeships.
